The position offers $23.44 per hour plus a $50 per diem, with a 14 days on / 14 days off rotation and extended shifts as drilling operations require. Candidates must have at least 5 years in drilling fluids and a strong field work ethic.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of drilling fluids experience required.
• Strong knowledge of drilling-fluid systems and chemistry.
• Experience performing drilling-fluid testing and interpreting results.
• Understanding of drilling operations and circulation systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot fluid-related issues in the field.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Ability to maintain detailed and accurate field documentation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills when working with field crews and customers.
• Must be able to work a minimum 14 days on / 14 days off rotation.
• Must be comfortable working extended hours in an oilfield environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage drilling-fluid operations at assigned wellsites.
• Monitor and maintain drilling-fluid properties according to operational requirements.
• Perform drilling-fluid testing and accurately document results.
• Evaluate fluid properties and determine appropriate treatments and adjustments.
• Monitor fluid volumes, chemical usage, and product inventory.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, testing results, and treatment records.
• Troubleshoot drilling-fluid issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor wellsite conditions that may impact fluid performance.
• Communicate fluid properties, treatments, inventory needs, and operational concerns to field personnel.
• Work closely with drilling crews and customer representatives.
• Maintain appropriate drilling-fluid products and materials at the wellsite.
• Participate in pre-job meetings and job safety analyses.
• Follow all HSE, environmental, customer, and jobsite requirements.
