Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) is seeking a Chemist to join the Fluids Sustaining team, supporting lab testing and product development for drilling and completion fluids. The role emphasizes analytical skills, attention to detail, and proactive collaboration.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 2–5 years of experience, with onsite work as part of a dynamic oilfield team. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in drilling and completion fluids laboratory testing or operations.
  • Knowledge of API recommended practices for drilling and completion fluids testing.
  • Strong data analysis skills; statistical analysis preferred.
  • Excellent communication to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform laboratory-scale testing and investigations to develop and sustain drilling and completion fluid product lines.
  • Manage individual technical projects with minimal oversight, ensuring timely and accurate results.
  • Design, optimize, and mix drilling and completion fluid formulations on lab scale.
  • Conduct laboratory testing using temperature and pressure conditions, following API recommended practices.
  • Prepare technical reports, analyze data, and draw meaningful conclusions to support product development.
