Job summary

OpenTrain AI, Inc. seeks an experienced drilling/energy operations professional to create training data and review AI-generated content. The role is remote, contract-based, and part-time, with pay up to $85 per hour and a schedule of 20 or more hours per week.

The work involves evaluating AI outputs for accuracy against real drilling workflows, writing actionable feedback, and applying well planning knowledge to energy data systems. Independent, detail-oriented work is required.

Qualifications

• Requires professional drilling or related energy operations experience.
• At least two years in drilling, completions, or related energy operations.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of WellView, SAP, ComboCurve, or AVEVA PI.

Responsibilities

• Create expert training data about drilling, completions, and related energy operations.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, relevance, and fit with drilling workflows.
• Apply knowledge of well planning and energy data systems when reviewing model outputs.
• Write clear feedback that helps improve AI understanding of energy industry practices.
• Work independently with close attention to detail.
