Fervo Energy seeks a Drilling & Completions Data Technician to own the flow of information from drilling rigs and completions crews. You will capture data, organize it across systems, and provide reliable data for real-time field decisions.

This hands-on, detail-driven role connects field operations with engineering and geoscience teams, ensuring data quality and audit readiness in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in drilling and completions data management or related technical role.
• Familiarity with WellView or similar data systems preferred.
• Strong Excel skills; Power BI familiarity is a plus.
• Working knowledge of drilling terminology and daily operations reports.
• Detail-oriented with ability to handle real-time field data.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a day-to-day power user of field data reporting systems and manage data entry standards.
• Maintain and quality-check daily drilling and completions reports before engineering review.
• Maintain dashboards, spreadsheets, and reports tracking drilling and completions performance and costs.
• Keep wellbore diagrams, files, and procedure documentation current and audit-ready.
• Partner with site supervisors to ensure field software is configured and working.
• Support teams with data pulls for compliance requests.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting workflows.
