Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Petroleum Engineering or related field.
- Minimum three years of oil and gas industry experience with drilling operations knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
- Basic proficiency with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks and ability to read engineering drawings.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic engineering calculations and evaluations for safety and feasibility.
- Support integration, testing, commissioning, deployment and troubleshooting of drilling rig automation systems.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation including functional requirements and tests.
- Review drawings, specifications and manuals to evaluate cost and maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and third-party suppliers for field delivery.
- Expand technical knowledge through hands-on assignments, field exposure, testing and commissioning.
