Key Responsibilities

• Assist with operation of drill rigs on geotechnical and environmental projects
• Support the Lead Driller with equipment setup, drilling operations, and site cleanup
• Handle and transport drilling tools and materials
• Perform manual labor and lift heavy equipment and samples (up to 50 lbs)
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols
• Accurately complete field documentation as needed
• Travel to job sites across the region (primarily field‑based work)
• Adapt to varying start times based on project location (typically early morning)
• Work 8–10 hour days, with weekly hours ranging from 40 to 60 depending on workload

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and around heavy equipment
• Strong work ethic and reliability are a must
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Additional Information

This is a field‑based position — majority of time will be spent on active job sites. Occasional travel may be required depending on project locations. PPE and safety training will be provided.
