Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting seeks a Driller Trainee-Quarry to learn and perform drill operations with safety as a priority. You may travel and work overtime as needed while advancing through training with supervision from the Blaster Foreman.

Requirements include equipment experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a pre-employment physical and ATF background screening. Competitive starting pay with travel allowance is offered.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment physical and drug screen required.
• Background screening for ATF required.
• Valid driver’s license with own transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain assigned heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Learn drill patterns and layouts as directed by supervision; assist Foreman.
• Track and report drill and material usage; complete required paperwork.
