Responsibilities

• Perform standard penetrometer testing operations.
• Locate borings in the field and record drilling data.
• Report project-specific issues to management.
• Maintain and care for company vehicles and drilling equipment.
• Perform drill rig and support truck maintenance; report repair and maintenance issues to the drilling supervisor.
• Follow company safety procedures and guidelines for maintaining a safe work environment for all crew personnel.
• Safely load drill rig and support vehicle with supplies; complete time sheets and field paperwork.
• Care for and clean assigned company vehicles and drilling equipment.
• Maintain professional behavior and quality standards.
• Willingness to work out of town and on non-standard work schedules when required.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Performing standard penetrometer testing operations including performing borings and geoprobes
• Locating borings in the field
• Recording required drilling data
• Reporting project-specific issues to the project manager and/or your supervisor
• Performing drill rig and support truck maintenance; reporting repair and maintenance issues to the drilling supervisor
• Following company safety procedures and guidelines for maintaining a safe work environment for all crew personnel
• Safely and accurately loading drill rig and support vehicle each day with supplies; promptly and accurately completing time sheets and field paperwork
• Care for and clean assigned company vehicles and drilling equipment and other assigned equipment
• Maintaining professional behavior and quality standards
• Willingness to work out of town and on non-standard work schedules when required
• Other duties as assigned
