Qualifications

• Active Nevada driller’s license or ability to obtain one within 2 years.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; Class A preferred.
• 2+ years drilling experience and high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and familiarity with mud rotary and/or reverse circulation drilling.

Responsibilities

• Operate mud rotary and reverse circulation drilling rigs to complete water well projects.
• Mobilize, set up, and tear down drilling equipment between projects.
• Follow project specifications and execute drilling operations efficiently.

Job description

What You Will Do

• Operate mud rotary and reverse circulation drilling rigs and related equipment to complete water well drilling projects as directed.
• Mobilize, set up, and tear down drilling equipment between projects.
• Follow project specifications and assist in executing drilling operations efficiently.
• Document and record daily drilling activities, mud properties, lithology or other information as necessary.
• Work closely with the drilling supervisors and leadership to ensure safe and effective drilling practices.
• Maintain and troubleshoot drilling equipment as needed.
• Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Must have an active Nevada driller’s license or the ability to obtain one within 2 years.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. A Class A commercial driver’s license is preferred and compensated accordingly.
• 2+ years of relevant drilling experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and familiarity with various drilling techniques, including direct, mud rotary, and/or reverse circulation.
