BAUER Foundation Corp. (BFC) is seeking a Drill Rig Operator to support drilling and CFA projects across Florida and the United States. The role involves operating Bauer drill rigs, setting up equipment, and maintaining safety and regulatory compliance on site.

Responsibilities

• Operate BAUER drill rigs as required for site.
• Assist in setting up the rig and equipment per site conditions.
• Report rig and equipment maintenance and field changes to the superintendent; suggest solutions.
• Perform and document pre/post-shift inspections and report drilling activities.
• Comply with safety regulations, code requirements and company policies.
• Participate in safety meetings and document equipment safety inspections.
• Maintain positive, profitable relations with customers and motivate the rig crew.

BFC is looking for Drill Rig Operators to support us on our projects in Florida and around the United States.

Requirements

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Responsibilities of this Position:

• Operating BAUER drill rigs as required for site
• Assisting in setting up the rig and equipment to conditions found as well as in moving it
• Reporting rig and equipment maintenance and unanticipated field changes to the superintendent and suggest possible solutions
• Performing and documenting pre/post-shift inspections and report drilling activities
• Complying with regulatory safety regulations, code requirements and company policies
• Participating in safety meetings and documentation of equipment safety inspection audits
• Establishing and maintaining continuous positive and profitable working relationships with customers and a positive motivating work environment for the rig crew

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in operating BAUER drilling and piling rigs for Drilled Shaft and CFA projects.
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to travel
• Experience required/Certification

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times
• Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather
• Must be able to stand and sit for 10-12 hours

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years of related experience as Drill Rig Operator on construction sites
• Ability to work independently and on a team
