Klein Tools in Bolivar, Alabama is seeking an entry-level production associate to operate press machines and perform manual tasks with a focus on safety and quality. The role requires minimal training and offers real hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

You will follow verbal instructions, inspect parts, maintain clean work areas, and rotate across machines as needed while meeting productivity standards.

Formación

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Must be familiar with OSHA regulations and have the ability to work well with others.

Responsabilidades

• Perform various types of press operations, or other manual tasks by hand per verbal work instructions to produce quality parts while maintaining productivity standards.
• Inspect product for quality using go/no-go gauge and/or visual inspections.
• Inform supervision of any production or quality problems.
• Maintain minimum standard rate.
• Report accurate count of production parts, scrap, and labor hours by completing required paperwork.
• Keep work area in clean and orderly condition, complying with established 6S standards.
• Cross‑train by rotating to different machines and work areas as required.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Entry level position, requires minimal training. Tasks are generally repetitive and includes press operations and other manual tasks by hand depending on area assigned.

• Work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by following company and OSHA safety rules and regulations, understanding machine safeguards, recognizing and reporting safety hazards, and wearing require PPE.
• Perform various types of press operations, or other manual tasks by hand per verbal work instructions to produce quality parts while maintaining productivity standards.
• Inspect product for quality using go/no-go gauge and/or visual inspections.
• Inform supervision of any production or quality problems.
• Maintain minimum standard rate

Physical Demand Requirements

Sitting, standing, walking up to 10 hours per day (can rotate), bending/twisting neck up to 2 hours per day (interruptive), bending/twisting waist up to 2 hours per day (interruptive), hand movement, up to 10 hours per day (repetitive), arm movement up to 10 hours per day (repetitive), pushing/pulling weight (assisted), up to 2 hours per day (interruptive), and lifting weight, up to 45 pounds, up to 2 hours per day (interruptive).
