The role involves following safety procedures, assisting with sampling, monitoring wells, preparing logs, and supporting the drilling team in a professional, client-focused environment. No prior experience required; mechanical aptitude and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

The employee regularly works in outside weather conditions, frequently works near moving mechanical parts, and is frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions and vibration. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Must have the ability to stand 90% of the time (often on uneven surfaces) and walk 20% of the time with frequent bending and stooping. The employee must frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds with assistance. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms; frequently required to stand, talk and hear; occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch and crawl. Required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
