EmergencyMD is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Drill and Cut Operator to support production in Humble, Texas. You will operate equipment and perform various tasks such as drilling, cutting, and preparing composite utility poles while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Overhead Crane and Lift Truck Certification is preferred.
• 1-year minimum manufacturing or production experience is an asset.

THE OPPORTUNITY

RS is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Drill and Cut Operator to support production by drilling, cutting, and preparing composite utility poles to meet quality, safety, and production standards. This role is key to delivering high-quality products while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and monitor Drill & Cut equipment to meet production and quality standards.
• Perform drilling, cutting, measuring, and mechanical scrap cutting operations.
• Inspect equipment and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Operate overhead cranes and use measuring tools, gauges, and HMI controls.
• Complete required production documentation and maintain material inventory.
• Report equipment issues to the Production Supervisor.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Support training, cross-training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist Engineering with process improvements and equipment trials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
