Job summary

DRB Mortgage is seeking a motivated Mortgage Loan Originator to join a builder joint venture with built-in volume and growth potential. You will build relationships with our builder partner, visit communities, and guide customers through the mortgage process with clear and timely communication.

The role requires 3–5 years in residential mortgage, a valid SC Mortgage Loan Originator license, and the ability to self-source or work builder leads.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years residential mortgage industry experience.
• SC Mortgage Loan Originator license is required.
• Must be located within a commutable distance to Myrtle Beach, SC.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with builder and customers.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, across a variety of audiences.
• Proficient in product guidelines for Conventional, FHA, and VA loans.
• Strong technology skills; experience with mortgage software is a plus.

About the Role

The MLO will build relationships with our builder partner and visit communities on a regular basis. Communities are located in the Myrtle Beach, SC area. They will also participate in weekly pipeline status meetings. MLO will interview customers to determine their financial needs and advise those customers of appropriate products, terms, and pricing. They will navigate the borrower through the mortgage process and help to gather required information through clear and timely communication. The MLO must maintain high loan quality standards and comply with industry regulations. The MLO is required to meet sales goals and objectives. MLO's will be able to work builder leads as well as the ability to self-source business!
