Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a senior technical leader to own DRAM architecture. This role carries broad architectural ownership across memory systems and involves direct engagement with customers and executives to translate complex ideas into scalable products.

You will define next-generation memory system builds, lead cross-stack optimization across silicon, packaging, and boards, and drive long-range technology strategy with a focus on performance, capacity, and reliability.

Qualifications

This role is a senior technical leadership position with broad architectural ownership. You will develop complete DRAM system architectures, impact industry direction, and engage directly with customers and executives to convert complex ideas into scalable products.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant equivalent experience in EE, CE, CS, or a related field
  • Extensive hands‑on experience in DRAM or memory systems architecture
  • Deep understanding of DRAM timing, signaling, power, and reliability mechanisms
  • Proven ability to translate system requirements into silicon architecture
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or PhD, or equivalent experience, in a related technical field
  • Recognized technical leadership influencing multiple products or teams
  • Experience engaging tier‑1 customers and ecosystem partners
  • History of architectural innovations adopted into production
Salary

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full‑time position is:

$177,000.00 - $387,000.00 a year

Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job‑related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
