Job summary

AECOM is seeking Drainage Engineers and Designers to join our Southeast/southern US team on large Design/Build and alternative delivery projects. You will work with Bentley MicroStation and Open Roads on highway drainage design, stormwater quantity control, and cross culvert analysis, with opportunities across multiple levels from junior to senior.

Hybrid work arrangement based out of a local AECOM office, relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates, and the team values

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience with Design/Build or Alternative Delivery projects.

Summary

We are enthusiastically searching for all levels of Drainage Engineers and Designers to join our growing team throughout the southern US. Selected candidates can expect to work on alternative delivery projects, including mega‑projects.

Key roles include:

• Junior level, mid‑level and senior level Drainage Engineers
• Drainage CAD Designers

Desired skillsets include:

• Experience in large Design/Build or Alternative Delivery projects
• Experience with Bentley Microstation and Open Roads
• Technical expertise in highway drainage design including, but not limited to: Storm Drain Design, Cross Culvert Analysis and Design, Hydrology, Ditch Design, Bridge Deck Drainage, Temporary Drainage, Stormwater Quantity Control

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

CAD Designers

• BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience

Junior Level Engineers

• BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience

Mid-Level Engineers

• BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience

  Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads

  • BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience

  Preferred Qualifications

  • EIT Certification or PE License
  • State DOT experience
