Job summary

Ferrovial Construction is seeking a Drainage Engineer to support and independently perform drainage design, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, and plan production for major transportation projects.

You will coordinate with internal teams, consultants, subconsultants, and project stakeholders to deliver practical, constructible drainage solutions while upholding Ferrovial standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive civil engineering experience in drainage or transportation design.
• Professional communication and coordination across multi-discipline teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drainage designs, plan sheets, and exhibits for highways and runways.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and drainage calculations.
• Coordinate drainage with roadway, structures, utilities, and other disciplines.
• Review specifications and project documents to ensure constructable, compliant designs.
• Support design documentation, submissions, and QA/QC efforts.
