Summary: Primarily responsible for performing residential and light commercial drain cleaning and hydro jetting. Light plumbing repairs may also be required.

Responsibilities

• Be on time and alert for assigned shift and work entire shift as scheduled
• Responsible for time management of jobs scheduled each day
• Check in with the client at the beginning and end of each task to ensure they are aware of everything going on throughout the visit
• Obtain client signature prior to completing any work as well as after the work is completed
• Turn in checks or cash at the earliest convenience for processing
• Ensure all materials used for each task are properly inputted into Service Titan
• Respond to all office communications in a timely manner
• Check in as needed to ensure office dispatcher and/or field supervisor are aware of status
• Secure parts and tools needed throughout the day for various jobs as required
• Consult field supervisor or dispatcher in times of uncertainty
• Ability to communicate with customers in a clear, confident manner throughout the entire service so they are aware of what is going on inside their home/business
• Adjust communications to provide the best customer experience
• Create detailed job notes in the customer's account for future reference
• Share thoughts/experiences with coworkers in meetings and in one-to-one interaction
• Be willing to try new ideas and recommend process improvements to the manager to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace both in a customer's property and the company vehicle
• Maintain a professional and presentable appearance in accordance with company standards due to regular interaction with clients and the public
• Maintain assigned truck, including gas, oil checks, and preventative maintenance; inform fleet manager of vehicle issues promptly; maintain inventory of parts, supplies, and tools; obtain parts and tools from inventory or place orders as needed
• Understand and abide by current company policies
• Consider safety as a primary responsibility for personal, co-worker, and public safety; possess general knowledge of safe working practices and MO-MO SHA requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Pass a drug test and background check
• Competent English communication to convey questions, instructions, or safety concerns to coworkers and supervisor
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR
• Ability to perform multiple technical tasks including operating equipment, adhering to safety practices, and planning/managing difficult tasks
• Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
• Physical fitness to work in varying conditions, including tight spaces, heights, and hot/cold temperatures
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends
