Job summary

PacifiCorp seeks dedicated operators for surface mining tasks in Point of Rocks, WY. You will safely operate drill and dozer equipment, work around draglines, and assist in grading and cable tasks to meet safety and production goals.

Responsibilities include pre-shift inspections and compliance with federal, state, and company policies. This 100% onsite role requires strong safety awareness and teamwork in a union environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of surface mining experience with draglines or similar equipment.
• 1–3 years of heavy equipment operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as track dozers and draglines according to set criteria.
• Assist with pad building to grade using GPS; manage key cuts and dragline power cable tasks.
• Inspect equipment prior to use and ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
