The State of Hawaii is hiring various levels of Drafting Technicians located in Ewa, Halawa, and Kalihi. Positions range from Drafting Technician III to VI, with salaries between $3,484 and $5,573 per month based on experience and level.
Successful candidates will perform complex drafting tasks and may supervise junior staff. A high school diploma with relevant drafting experience is required. Valid driver's license and completion of pre-employment checks are also necessary.

Individually performs complex drafting work involving a high level of drafting skill, in an area of specialization; may serve as team leader for a small group of drafting technicians of lower level; and performs other related duties as assigned.
Drafting Technician III performs work under general supervision as an advanced trainee, completing assignments varying in degree of difficulty and complexity.
Drafting Technician IV performs a variety of moderately difficult drafting work under general supervision and receives training in procedures, regulations, and special techniques.
Drafting Technician V performs fairly complex drafting work under general supervision in an area of specialization and performs other related duties as assigned.
Drafting Technician VI individually performs complex drafting work involving a high level of drafting skill in an area of specialization; may serve as team leader for a small group of drafts men of lower level; and performs other related duties as assigned.
