Job summary

Bishop & Company, Inc. is seeking a Drafting Technician to support the engineering department with drawings, research and other drafting tasks. The position requires on-site work in Honolulu, HI, with hours 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Salary ranges from $19 to $22 per hour, with length of engagement of 1 year or longer. Candidates must reside in Oahu and be available to interview immediately. Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation is essential to create and review drawings and maps

• Strong clerical and administrative skills.

• Look for maps, drawings and documentations or information to assist Engineers and Planners with their projects.

Skills Required

• Must have good working knowledge of computers.
• Must demonstrate the ability to read or interpret maps and drawings.
• Must demonstrate ability to draw and create drawings using AutoCAD or Microstation.
• Must have good clerical and administrative skills
• Must have strong oral, written, and listening skills
• Must have good interpersonal skills.

This position is 100% on site in Honolulu, HI and hours expected are Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. The length of this position is 1 year or longer.

Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $19-22/ Hr. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
