Job summary

Superior Industries in Norcross, GA is seeking a Drafter Intern to gain hands-on experience. You will work with seasoned professionals and use Autodesk 2D AutoCAD and Inventor to create Fabrication, Weldment, and Assembly drawings.

Responsibilities include BOMs and routings in JD Edwards ERP, updating drawings, supporting production by answering questions on blueprints, and implementing design changes. Internship will occur in summer 2027 and is not visa-sponsored.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Drafting or related study.
• Sophomores and Juniors are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with designing layouts for Superior Equipment used in processing bulk material and aggregates.
• Use Autodesk 2D AutoCAD and Inventor to create detailed Fabrication, Weldment, and Assembly drawings.
• Complete bills of material, and routings in JD Edwards ERP system.
• Update drawings and implement design changes.
• Support production team by answering questions on blueprints.
• Other duties as assigned.
