Job summary

Opti Staffing is seeking a Steel Drafter/Designer in Salem, OR, to produce fabrication and installation drawings using AutoCAD 2D/3D and Inventor. This full-time, on-site role supports engineering, production and project management to ensure timely delivery of custom steel projects.

You will prepare layouts, schematics, and BOMs, ensure drawings meet quality standards, and meet project deadlines. Requires 1+ year Tekla/XSteel experience and familiarity with AISC/ASTM specs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with Tekla/XSteel
• Familiarity with AISC and ASTM specifications
• Strong CAD software proficiency (AutoCAD, Inventor)
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and BOMs

Responsibilities

• Create accurate fabrication and installation drawings using CAD tools
