Job summary

CACI International Inc in New Jersey is seeking a CAD Drafter/Operator IV to support PHST programs at Picatinny Arsenal. You will work with engineers to produce precise drawings for munitions, reflecting fabrication and assembly needs.

Responsibilities include creating engineering drawings with AutoCAD 2018 and Creo 9, resolving design-related issues, and guiding other drafters on large projects. A Bachelor's in engineering and an active Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline and at least 5 years of drafting experience.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD
  • Proficient with Solid Edge

  • May provide advice and guidance to other drafters or serve as coordinator and planner for large and complex drafting projects

The Opportunity

CACI is seeking a CAD Drafter to support our government Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHST) customers located in Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. In this role you will work closely with engineers, design originators, preparing drawings of unusual, complex, or original designs supporting munitions which require a high degree of precision. Performs unusually difficult assignments requiring considerable initiative, resourcefulness, and drafting expertise.

Required
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline and at least 5 years of drafting experience
  • Proficient with AutoCAD
  • Proficient with Solid Edge
  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Familiarity with military standards and specifications
  • Experience supporting production and testing environments for containerized equipment

Pay Range

This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI’s government contract for the work location.

Minimum Required Hourly Wage

$35.94
