FTS / Flexblue Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Draftsman / Designer to support our fabrication and production teams. This role is responsible for creating accurate technical drawings, layouts, and designs for custom metal fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify 2D/3D CAD drawings for fabrication projects
• Interpret customer specifications, sketches, and engineering inputs
• Prepare shop drawings, layouts, and cut lists
• Collaborate with shop personnel to ensure designs are practical and buildable
• Revise drawings based on feedback and field measurements
• Maintain organized drawing files and documentation
• Assist with project coordination and timelines as needed

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in drafting/design (metal fabrication preferred)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience with sheet metal, structural steel, or custom fabrication
