Job summary

Karman Space & Defense in Mukilteo, WA is seeking a Drafter to support mechanical engineering by creating drawing packages, tooling concepts, and CAD models for prototyping and production.

You will collaborate with machine shops, assist proposals, and generate bills of materials, contributing to assembly and testing activities with clear documentation and quality craftsmanship.

Salary Range: $80,200.00 To $90,000.00 Annually

In this role, you support mechanical engineering through the creation of drawing packages, tooling concepts, and computer-aided design (CAD) models that guide prototyping and production. You collaborate with machine shops, contribute to proposal efforts, and assist with assembly and testing activities. Your work strengthens engineering output, ensures clear documentation, and supports successful hardware development across prototype and production stages.
