Born from many well-known and long-standing brands, Howmet Fastening Systems, headquartered in Torrance, California, is the premier designer and manufacturer of aerospace and industrial fasteners, latches, fluid fittings and installation tools. Our products are used nose to tail on commercial and military aircraft, as well as on jet engines, industrial gas turbines, automobiles, commercial transportation vehicles, wind turbines, solar power systems, and construction and industrial equipment.
Accurately details parts and assemblies;
Create engineering drawings and designs for production and manufacturing;
Prepares required engineering notices and record prints;
Create design specifications, documentation, material lists and BOMs;
Prepares layout drawings as required to support design and engineering efforts;
Prepares TCX's (inspection support drawings used with comparator);
Operates 3D CAD and related equipment such as plotters and printers;
Build prototypes and equipment and provide feedback on design;
Conduct experiments, run diagnostics and collect and analyze prototype testing data;
Performs other related tasks as assigned;
Ensure that all work activities are performed in accordance with established safety and environmental standards.
