Job summary

Middletown is seeking a capable automotive technician to assist in repairing gasoline and diesel vehicles and equipment. The role involves tire mounting, brake repairs, electrical work and basic troubleshooting in a busy shop environment.

The candidate should be able to perform mechanical duties safely and independently and possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license; CDL is a plus. Mechanical experience and Auto Tech program graduation are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the repair of gasoline/diesel cars, trucks and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs (brakes, tires, electrical).
• Keep shop and parts areas clean and organized.

The qualified candidate will be required to assist in the repair of various types of gasoline/Diesel cars, trucks, and equipment including but not limited,

• Tire mounting and balancing
• Brake repairs
• Minor electrical repairs
• Basic troubleshooting

The qualified candidate will also be required to clean and organize the shop and parts areas as needed. Must be able to perform basic mechanical duties safely and independently and possess a valid NJ driver’s license, CDL license is a plus. Mechanical experience and graduation from an Auto Tech program are preferred.
