Mission

Reeves Construction Company is seeking an experienced Dozer Operator based in Savannah, GA. The candidate must prioritize safety and excellence in all tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate tractor with concave blade for earth gouging, leveling, and material displacement to prepare land for construction.
• Maintain basic knowledge of machine mechanics and hydraulics.
• Conduct equipment inspections (tracks, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, water).
• Ensure equipment is serviced, lubricated, and well-maintained, including good housekeeping.
• Understand slope and grade stakes, ditch depths, and fill section heights.
• Operate vehicle safely and adhere to company policies.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience

Qualifications: Must perform all duties satisfactorily; candidates should have at least two years of bulldozer operation experience in a similar industry. Reasonable accommodations are available for disabilities.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; 1-3 months related experience/training or equivalent.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents; write routine reports.
