Job summary

Prince Contracting, LLC is seeking an experienced heavy equipment operator to run bulldozers and related machinery, grade terrain, and move earth as directed. You will attach equipment, perform minor maintenance, and follow hand signals from a site supervisor on outdoor Florida worksites.

Expect long days, working five days a week, with potential for six. Physical stamina, safety-consciousness, and reliability are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Outdoor work in Florida heat and rain.
• Physical requirements: standing, kneeling, lifting, bending, stooping, pulling and pushing.
• Five-day (and sometimes six-day) work week.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulldozer and other heavy equipment.
• Grade terrain and move earth as directed.
• Align and position equipment with reference points and hand signals.
• Attach blades/attachments to tractors and secure with hitches.
• Grease, oil and perform minor repairs on equipment.
• Follow supervisor signals for safe operation.
