Job summary

KBI Biopharma, Inc. is seeking a Research Associate II to support downstream process development activities for biopharmaceutical production. You will execute experiments, compile and analyze data, and draft technical documents to support client projects.

Candidates require a B.S. in biotechnology or related field (M.S. preferred) with 0–4 years (or 2+ years for Associate II). Experience with downstream development and chromatography equipment, plus GMP knowledge, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with downstream process development and chromatography equipment is required.
• Excellent written and communication skills for customer service and meeting deadlines.
• Knowledge of GMPs and biotechnology-derived product regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support downstream process development activities including experiments, data analysis, and drafting technical documents.
• Assist in evaluating, developing, and implementing new downstream technologies for process improvements.
• Assist with preliminary scheduling including material, personnel, and equipment needs to meet performance guarantees.
• Equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
• General lab organization.
