Job summary

Avir Vista in Sulphur Springs, TX is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for double-weekend shifts to support our resident’s daily medications and comfort. You will administer, document, and report medications according to physician orders and facility policy, while collaborating with the care team to maintain safety and quality of life.

Requirements include current CMA certification with the Department of Health and prior skilled nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Must be certified as a Qualified Medication Aide by the Department of Health
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions
• Previous skilled nursing home experience

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, report, and record medications according to physician's orders and established policies and procedures
• Ensure that the highest degree of quality care is always maintained
• Work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care to our residents
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
