Job summary

KTek Resourcing LLC seeks an experienced Backend/API Lead to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using .NET, C#, and Microservices. You will build RESTful APIs from scratch, apply DDD and Clean Architecture, and ensure performance, security, and maintainability.

You will mentor a team of 6–8 developers, lead code reviews, and participate in architectural decisions in an Agile environment. Cloud deployment, PL/SQL, and AI integration experience are required.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Backend/API Developer with strong expertise in .NET, C#, Microservices, and RESTful API development to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience building REST APIs from scratch and applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Clean Architecture, and SOLID principles.

The candidate should have experience with cloud technologies, PL/SQL, application performance tuning, and security best practices. Exposure to AI technologies and AI-powered application integration is required, with the ability to understand how AI capabilities can be incorporated into backend services and enterprise applications.

This role also requires strong technical leadership skills, including the ability to lead, mentor, and guide a team of 6–8 developers while remaining actively involved in development and architectural decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using .NET, C#, and Microservices architecture.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in .NET, C#, and .NET Core/.NET 6+.
• Extensive experience developing and maintaining .NET Microservices.
• Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs from scratch.
• Strong understanding and practical application of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Clean Architecture, and SOLID principles.
• Experience with PL/SQL and relational database development.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and cloud-based application deployment.
• Knowledge of application performance tuning, troubleshooting, and security best practices.

The candidate must be capable of leading a team of 6–8 developers while contributing to technical design and development.
