Job summary

Dal-Tile, the largest tile and natural stone manufacturer in the United States, is hiring a Dot Mount Packer for its 4th Street location. This 1st shift role runs Monday to Thursday from 5:10am to 3:40pm, with an hourly pay of $20.48.

You will visually inspect tiles, pack them for shipment, apply bar code labels, monitor equipment, and follow safety procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. High school diploma and 0–1 year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-1 year manufacturing/production experience.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect tile for quality defects according to control plan specifications and replace defective tile as necessary.
• Packs tile into boxes.
• Places correct bar code labels on boxes.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating and safety procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.

The Dot Mount Packer inspects and packs finished tile into boxes for shipment.

Major Functions And Scope

Visually inspect tile for quality defects according to control plan specifications and replaces defective tile as necessary.

Packs tile into boxes.

Places correct bar code labels on boxes.

Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.

Follows standard operating and safety procedures.

Keeps area safe, clean and organized.

Education And Knowledge

Performs other related duties as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

• 0 -1 year previous manufacturing/production experience.
