Qualifications

• Graduate of a hospital/college affiliated medical dosimetry program or BA/BS in physical/biological sciences with on-the-job dosimetry training.
• Registered Radiation Therapist or equivalent credential plus supervised dosimetry experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in intracavitary and interstitial brachytherapy and dose distribution calculations.
• Design treatment plans delivering prescribed radiation dose.
• Participate in clinical research and continuing education in dosimetry.
• Supervise therapists during treatment delivery and ensure quality and safety.
