Works closely with medical physicists and radiation oncologists to develop the best radiation treatment plan for cancer patients by determining the level of energy needed in linear accelerators to shrink and eliminate tumors.
At least Associate (2-year) degree in a science-related field or completion of dosimetry training program (bachelors or master of dosimetry or certificate in degree). Certified (or eligible) for certification by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board.
Two (2) year of full-time relevant work experience or completion of clinical dosimetry training program in the field of Radiation Therapy required.
