• Two years-practical hospitals experience necessary with current Radiation Oncology experience preferred.

• Computer background, office routine familiarity and strong knowledge of anatomy from various imaging modalities, and medical terminology

Responsibilities

• Knowledgeable application of treatment planning process on 3D, IMRT, proton, SBRT planning techniques.
• Quality Assurance of treatment planning system.
• Manual second calculation checks.
• Weekly chart rounds and planning rounds Quality Assurance.
• Ensuring department compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
• Utilize sound judgement to handle complex situations.

A Typical Day For a Dosimetrist May Include
