JOB OVERVIEW

Greet and acknowledge all arriving guests. Assist in preparing the Nightlife Venues for service and maintaining the cleanliness of the room at all times. Curating guests by ensuring that all patrons adhere to the dress code and assuring the venue stays within legal capacity. Ensure that a positive experience is had by all who join us by constantly monitoring the room and making any necessary adjustments to achieve an exceptional experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
• Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.
• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Welcome and greet guests in a positive, friendly manner,
• Inspect the Restaurant environment and entrance area, ensuring that all standards are met; rectify any deficiencies; maintain cleanliness at all times.
• Greet and acknowledge all arriving guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
• Escort guests to tables and assist in seating at tables; present menus and extend congeniality’s in accordance to department guidelines.
• Accommodate all requests for information courteously.
• Communicate V.I.P. arrivals and special requests to designated personnel for follow up.
• Extend courteous departures as guests leave the restaurant and invite them to return.
• Provide security and safety for guests, employees and venue
• Abide by all state and federal law while enforcing hotel and venue policy
• Escort guests or employees out of the venue as needed
• Control the flow of guests coming into the restaurant, bar and lounge
• Perform all opening and closing duties, based upon shift assignment
• Assist with the booking and organizing of table reservations.
• Create relationships with guests and provide your contact information for future reservations.
• Create revenue by selling tables at the door.
• Manage the door in a way that makes entering the venue smooth and seamless for those who are granted entry.
• Communicate with management and service team to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests or other employees.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES

• Ability to grasp, lift, move, or push goods on cart/truck weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to move safely in uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
• Ability to see and respond dangerous to situations.
• Requires mobility. Sense of smell, taste, touch, and sound. Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity.
• Remain in stationary position for 8 or more hours throughout work shift
• Ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
• Some of the work will occur in different locations of the hotel.
