Job summary

Nashville Door is seeking an experienced Door Technician to diagnose, repair, and install commercial door and entrance systems in the Middle-Tennessee area. You will be the face of our company in the field, ensuring doors function properly and safely while upholding our Core Values.

The role requires 2+ years in installing or servicing automatic and manual doors, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to lift 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience installing or servicing automatic and manual commercial doors (2+ years).
• Comfort with hand/power tools and diagnosing mechanical and low-voltage electrical issues.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and participate in on-call rotation.
• Must lift 75 lbs, climb ladders, and work on feet in varying environments.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; ability to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, install automatic doors, storefronts, and other entry products on-site.
• Meet with customers before and after work to review scope and provide recommendations.
• Complete dispatches, work orders, notes, and time logs accurately; submit parts requests promptly.
• Manage parts on the service vehicle and keep the jobsite safe and clean.
• Follow safety standards and ensure doors leave in code-compliant condition.
• Model core values in every call to reinforce team culture.
