Door Systems Assembly Technician IIA day in the lifeAt the start of your shift, you’ll review the day’s traveler and standard work instructions, gather your components, and set up your station. You’ll assemble glass, doors, frames, and related subcomponents into precise sub-assemblies and finished units. Throughout the day you’ll switch between hand tools, electric drivers, and pneumatic equipment, making minor machine adjustments under supervision when needed. You’ll verify quality at each step using visual checks, tape measures, gauges, check fixtures, and calipers, documenting your results and escalating anything questionable to your lead or supervisor.
