Job summary

Metrie in Orlando, FL is hiring a Door Shop Worker for our first Florida market location. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm, with an hourly rate of $22.00.

You will support the door shop by picking, packing, shipping materials, and ensuring order accuracy while handling materials up to 50lbs. Ideal candidates have door shop or warehouse experience, a strong work ethic, and good teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical work and lift up to 50lbs.
• Experience in a door shop preferred; warehouse experience required.
• Solid work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship building materials (mouldings, doors).
• Read pick lists and ensure order accuracy.
• Lift and move materials (49–69 lbs).
• Operate equipment (e.g., electric tugger).
• Maintain clean work areas and support binning/put-away.
• Complete work safely, accurately, and on time.
