Job summary

Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is hiring a Door Assembler for a Bradenton-based door manufacturing company. Read blueprints, select and prepare components, and operate tools to fabricate door parts.

You will install hardware, inspect finished doors, and move materials safely. A high school diploma is preferred; carpentry/manufacturing experience is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand long hours is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in assembly, carpentry, woodworking, or manufacturing is an advantage.
• Ability to read measuring tapes, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Skilled in using various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or drawings to determine assembly requirements.
• Select, measure, cut, and prepare wood, metal, glass, or composite components for assembly.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery to fabricate and assemble door parts.
• Install hinges, locks, handles, and hardware according to specifications.
• Inspect materials and finished doors for defects or deviations from specs.
• Safely handle and move heavy materials using lifts, dollies, or other equipment.
