Job summary

Tucker Door & Trim Corp. is hiring for a full-time day shift position in Albany, GA. The role involves assembling exterior door packages and using power and pneumatic tools in a manufacturing setting.

You must be able to read a measuring tape to 1/16 inch, lift up to 100 lbs, wear steel-toe footwear, and work safely around drills, nailers and saws. Prior construction or carpentry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Read a measuring device accurately to 1/16 of an inch.
• Read, write and communicate in English.
• Lift up to 100 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Wear steel toe footwear and follow safety rules.
• Experience with power or pneumatic tools is preferred.
• Experience in construction, carpentry or cabinetry helps.
• Comfortable using drills, nailers and saws.
• Familiarity with CNC operation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and practices.
• Work scheduled shifts and arrive on time.
• Assemble and build exterior single and pre-hung door packages.
• Provide continual attention to fabrication details and quality.

Requirements

• Read a Measuring Tape accurately


• Read, Write and Communicate in English


• Lift, Push, Pull, Shift, Move objects up to 100lbs throughout your shift


• Wear Steel Toe Foot Wear


• Stand throughout your shift


• Comfortable using Drills, Nailers, Saws, etc.


• Work in Hot, Warm, Cool and Cold interior environments

Additional Assets

• Experience in construction, carpentry, cabinetry, etc.


• Experience using Power Tools or Pneumatic Tools
