Job summary

Hilton San Francisco Union Square is seeking a friendly Door Attendant to welcome guests, manage lobby traffic, assist with luggage, and coordinate transportation. The role emphasizes delivering memorable hospitality with a warm, professional demeanor and strong guest interaction.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of customer service experience, excellent English communication skills, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving and departing guests and assist with luggage and traffic flow in the lobby.
• Read luggage tags, issue claim tickets, and ensure proper handling of guest items.
• Retrieve, transport, store and organize guest luggage, packages and boxes.
• Arrange taxis or other guest transportation as requested.
• Provide upbeat, friendly service and resolve guest inquiries promptly.

• Strong English communication skills with guests, team members, and management, both in person and over the phone, with professional phone etiquette.

• A genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.

• Previous experience in a guest service role is a plus!

Here’s what you'll do during a typical day:

• Support seamless arrivals and departures: Greet arriving and departing guests, manage traffic flow at the lobby entrance, and assist with luggage

• Tag and track guest belongings: Read luggage tags, issue claim tickets, and ensure accurate handling and delivery of guest items

• Handle guest items with care: Retrieve, transport, store, and organize guest luggage, packages, and boxes from vehicles and luggage storage areas

• Coordinate transportation needs: Arrange taxis or other guest transportation services upon request

• Delight our guests: Bring an upbeat and friendly attitude to all guest interactions, respond promptly to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a friendly, efficient manner
