Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Donut Finisher for our Bakery department. You will glaze, icing, and garnish donuts, bagels, and pastries, while ensuring the display case stays stocked and attractive for customers.

You’ll provide friendly service, maintain a clean workspace, and support the team as needed throughout the shift. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and can follow instructions with attention to detail.

• Six months or less of similar experience; training provided.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and greet customers.
• Prepare work area and equipment for donut finishing at shift start.
• Heat and glaze donuts, icing and garnish as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to hygiene standards.
• Answer the telephone promptly and assist customers across the store.
• Report to work on time and follow Hy-Vee policies.

You'll have daily exposure to noise and equipment, weekly exposure to cleaning chemicals or solvents, and will regularly work around ovens and glazing equipment.
