Job summary

University Hospitals in Ohio is seeking a Donor Relations Specialist to support stewardship programs and ensure ongoing engagement of key donors. The role focuses on recognizing donors, coordinating endowed positions, drafting acknowledgments, and maintaining donor data within UH Connect.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in development, with strong written and oral communication, project management skills, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in a development/ fundraising setting.
• Exceptional written and oral communication and organizational skills.
• Strong project management abilities; proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Experience with Raiser's Edge and InDesign or similar software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of donor stewardship strategies to recognize and engage key donors.
• Coordinate endowed position establishment, appointments, and reappointments in partnership with the Manager, Stewardship Operations.
• Draft and maintain donor acknowledgment templates.
• Manage UH Connect eligibility data and coordinate timely, accurate membership fulfillment.
• Coordinate stewardship and donor relations projects, including vendor management and creative deliverables.
• Support donor and engagement events as needed.
