Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years in a large complex organization (e.g., higher education or non-profit).
  • Minimum of three years advanced knowledge of donor relations, stewardship, and donor recognition principles and practices.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with donors, fundraising professionals, and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to tailor communications to diverse donor audiences.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills; ability to interpret complex information.

Responsibilities

  • Manages Donor Recognition Giving Societies and donor communications with a data-driven approach.
  • Advances recognition and stewardship strategy; implements enhancements and leverages new technologies.
  • Coordinates data, reporting, and program administration across campus partners.
  • Maintains documentation and data integrity in the advancement database and processes.
  • Handles donor inquiries and administers donor benefits and engagement opportunities.
