Kedrion Biopharma Inc. seeks a Medical Screener to join our plasma donation centers in the United States. You will greet donors, conduct health screenings, take vital signs, and guide the donation process while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Your role blends customer service with healthcare procedures within a community-focused environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma, at least one year in customer service, and a state license where required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare, retail, or plasma/blood collection.
• Clinical Laboratory Personnel license required in the State of Louisiana.
• Strong interpersonal skills with clear, professional communication.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Familiarity with FDA, cGMP, and OSHA standards is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Greet and register donors, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
• Guide donors through health screening, review health history forms, and determine if further medical review is needed.
• Perform vital signs measurements and fingerstick sampling to assess hematocrit and total protein.
• Prepare and calibrate screening equipment per SOPs and troubleshoot as needed.
• Monitor donor safety during screening and donation, reporting adverse reactions.
• Explain donation process, policies, and safety guidelines clearly and professionally.
• Maintain donor records and ensure documentation meets regulatory requirements.
• Operate internal systems like NDDR and CDCS per guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, stocked work area and update supply lot numbers.
• Support plasmapheresis by preparing collection machines and monitoring donor comfort.
• Participate in center audits with accurate records and compliance docs.
• Collaborate with staff to meet production goals and donor experience.
• Answer inquiries from donors and the public politely.
