Job summary

Democracy Now! seeks an Individual Giving Manager to lead our digital and direct mail fundraising efforts. You will oversee monthly giving programs, cultivate donors, and manage a portfolio of prospects. This role reports to the Director of Development and works with interns and volunteers in our NYC office.

You will design strategy, supervise donor communications, and coordinate events to advance fundraising goals while staying aligned with Democracy Now!'s mission and values.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in non-profit fundraising or equivalent experience.
  • Experience developing campaign materials with clear and compelling copy.
  • Experience working with individual donors at $1,000+ levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and respond to opportunities quickly.
  • Experience using a CRM for donor data and outreach.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a comprehensive individual giving strategy with the Director of Development.
  • Lead digital and direct mail campaigns, including copywriting, layout, execution, and analysis.
  • Oversee monthly giving programs from solicitation to stewardship.
  • Cultivate and steward donors contributing $1,000–$5,000 annually; manage a donor portfolio.
