Job summary

GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA in Metairie, LA is hiring a Donation Attendant (Veterans Memorial Store). This full-time role focuses on providing excellent donor experiences, sorting donations, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Responsibilities include accepting donations, issuing receipts, and presenting a positive image through courteous service. The position requires standing/walking, a flexible schedule (including nights/weekends), and fluent English

Qualifications

• Must interact cordially with donors and the public.
• Ability to promote Goodwill and its mission to the public.
• Capable of prolonged standing, walking, bending and reaching.
• Wlexible schedule including days, nights and weekends is required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Clear reading, writing and communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Project a positive image of Goodwill to donors.
• Sort donated materials as directed.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment and promote safety.
• Accept donations and issue receipts to donors.
• Present a positive Company image through prompt, courteous service.
• Follow safety policies relevant to the work area.
